The thought of a boudoir session can be scary. When talking to women about their session, I get asked all kinds of questions. So I wanted to compile a list of my 12 most frequently asked questions to give you some insight on preparing for a boudoir session with me!
Our number 1 priority is making sure our clients are comfortable, especially with boudoir. It can be a life changing experience, but that also makes it nerve wracking! Sometimes, you are learning to love your body and aren’t quite ready for anyone else to see, or sometimes these photos are specifically for your significant other and not for anyone else’s eyes. These are all great reasons for not sharing your photos, and it all depends on your personal preference! If there are photos that I would like to share, I will always ask your permission first and only share what you are comfortable with!
You definitely don’t have to wear Lingerie. There are plenty of outfit ideas up my sleeve if Lingerie isn’t in your comfort level.
We offer a few different payment options! There is a retainer fee due when you book your shoot and your collection remainder is due 2 weeks before your boudoir shoot date. We can do an in-house payment plan and figure out payments that work well within your budget. We can also accept affirm/klarna/afterpay.
Yes, it’s super important to me that you feel pampered during your boudoir experience so we offer hair and makeup for all our shoots. Our team will help you complete your look whether that’s “I just woke up like this” or Full on glam.
I do edit your images for light, exposure and color balance. I do NOT however edit anything “out” that is a permanent feature of you. I think that it can be damaging to have a boudoir session done, and then edit out parts of yourself that make you who you are. Part of the process of accepting yourself and seeing your beauty also means not photoshopping out parts of yourself you don’t like. If there are parts of yourself that you are still learning to love and aren’t thrilled with, that’s okay! We are skilled in posing and lighting to make you look your absolute best.
I have a client closet filled with over 350 lingerie pieces ranging from sizes 5X-XS. Because of this you don’t HAVE to bring outfits. Shopping is always fun and can help you get excited. Here are some places I recommend if you’d like to shop. Amazon, hipsandcurves, Torrid, Honey Birdette, For love and lemons, Victoria Secret, AdoreMe, SavagexFenty.
I offer high end luxury albums, wall art, and diamond blocks. I absolutely adore the feeling of picking up a physical product. Seeing yourself as a work of art is truly indescribable.
Yes! Digital files are offered in my top 4 collections. If you purchase a collection with digital files, you get printing rights so you can download and make additional print copies if you’d like.
Like I had mentioned above, you don’t HAVE to bring any outfits because of my client closet. I always tell clients bringing at least one they are comfortable in is always a good idea.
Nerves are all apart of the experience! I always say it would be a little weird if you WEREN’T nervous! The nervousness in the beginning, makes the “WOW,” moment of viewing your final images, that much better!
You should always plan to arrive 10 minutes early to plan for traffic but do not come into my doors until your scheduled time 🙂
We are located in one of the oldest Historic Buildings on Main Street in Ada, Oklahoma.
